Disable calls/text during netflix streaming?

Is there a way to disable all calls and texts while im watching netflix? Obviously I need wireless on while streaming so will disabling data in the settings still allow calls and texts to come through over the wifi?

I'm not sure since I haven't done it in a while, but I think if you go airplane mode and then turn on WiFi in settings (specifically, no widgets) it should be WiFi only.

UPDATE: Just tried it. I don't have an open network around me, but I was picking up signals around me so it should work. Also, if you're rooted there should be an app that only kills the voice/text radio.
