I havent reveived any OTA uodates beyond this. Is this normal? I hear about everyone having .901 and how it fixes a lot of bugs and its making me mad that I havent got an update. Sorry if this is a noob question.

Swiped on my DROID BIONIC using DroidForums

893 is the "current" OTA version. 901 was an accidental release. If you want it you'll have to manually install it.

Motorola is prepping a soak test right now for the Bionic. Usually after a week or so if everything goes well with the soak it'll be OTA.

Im running it now and its pretty good. 4g strength is way better. Here are the instructions.

Be careful when booting into recovery because when you go to click recovery, the actual 'select button' is the up toggle for the volume. You can only go down.

Also to boot into recovery hold both volume rockers when turning on your bionic.

When placing file on the root of your sd card, no need for renaming and if it does not work plug your phone in, set to isbn mass storage and move it to the root of your sd card manually. Then unplug and reboot into recovery, select recovery mode, navigate to the root of your sd card ( now the power button is the select button) and select the update file that you downloaded and blam. just wait for it to install and reboot and your now on 5.9.901
