"Stick a Pin" on where and when you got the 5.9.905 update OTA

Just for fun, I've created a Google map for the 5.9.905 update. When you receive it OTA, just go to https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msi...42.55308,-116.279297&spn=52.746143,114.169922 and "stick a pin" with any information you want to divulge (Date and Time, generally). You don't need to put your exact address, just a Zip Code will do. To do this you search on your location and then click "Save to map" then you can edit that with your information.

As it builds you can see how random the update is.

I am still on .886. I have not gotten a single ota update in a year+ of ownership. Is that normal?

If the survey came out today as planned, and there's no problems, I'd expect to see "I GOT .905!!! :icon_ banana:" treads by later in the week. Just guessing here, folks.

Noooo that's not normal u should be on .902

You'd have to go from .886 to .893 to .902 in order to get .905. It's possible to load them manually, if you can't get them OTA.

Have you gone to Menu>Settings>About Phone>Updates? If so, does it say that you're up to date or that the check for updates not available at this time? Are you rooted? Did you freeze your bloatware?

I haven't gotten the update yet so I haven't entered. In theory...

4) Enter date and time.

No, that is not a normal situation. By the way, the most you could have owned the bionic is 9 months. Just saying.

i got survey yesterday. so i would expect .905 ota very soon.

In theory...

3) Right Click on location to edit
4) Enter date and time.

I added my location as a soak tester. I'm not sure I see my pin from the zoomed out US map.
