These 2 pictures were taken from the same distance, with the same focus, with the same aperture and exposure, under the same lighting.

I will let the picture do the talking. Did I get a bad batch, or are the satisfied customers just not bothered by this? The package included two protectors - there is no difference between them.

That is the way they are designed. With the material they use, its a trade off to have no fingerprints. It certainly is not going to be as clear as the naked glass. If you want that, then get the Steinheil Crystal.

I wanted to update this report that SGP Store obliged my request for a replacement with the Crystal variety of their screen protector.

I strongly prefer this one. Thumbs up on this product and thumbs up to their customer support for sending it to me free of charge.
