Status bar color changing

Hi all,

To start off with, I absolutely love the Razr Maxx. Best phone I have ever used.

I have a question though. The icons (wi-fi, 4G/3G, and Battery level) periodically change back and forth from white to blue. Sometimes at the same time, and sometimes not. What does this mean?

Thanks for any help/explanation.

From what I understand when WiFi turns white it is not making a complete connection with Google/internet.

Could be wrong.

Blue is supposed to mean securely connected to Google, non blue is not securely connected to Google.

Blue means background data is turned on. It means you are actively syncing your "stuff". White saves you on data but your apps and information syncs are not up to date.

Turn your background data on, the 4G will be blue.

Turn it off, it'll be white.

Mine is always off. Saves battery & auto syncing everything all day, laggin my phone down.
