Star Wars The Force Awakens Edition: Droid Turbo 2

The other day @DroidModderX posted a thread about the Star Wars edition wallpapers for the Verizon Droid Turbo 2. It looks like Verizon and Motorola may be going all out with special edition Droid Turbo 2(s) through Moto Maker starting tomorrow. So you Star Wars fans can geek out with a phone to match the movie, which releases in theaters next week.

Meh. Lame imo. So they just cobbled together parts that already had, add a wallpaper and BAM: Droid version?
If there were some unique backs that you could ONLY get on these then it would be cool.

I won that sucker in a twitter contest. Loved the R2 sounds, but I was already rocking the Droid X, so I ended up selling it on eBay. It was a slick phone though at the time.

That's hilarious! I kicked myself after I sold it on eBay. Someone snapped up the Buy it Now at $400 quick. If I had only had it as a bidding war, I think I could've done much better.

But, at the same time, it was very little effort to make $400 & someone else got a good deal.

The droid line is still a registered trademark of Lucas films..so he's making cash on the t2 anyway..

I agree that the phones are not as cool as the Droid R2D2 edition, they should have had more customization options. But the wallpaper app just hit the Play Store for all Turbo 2's.
