The Droids are coming back to the big screen! Check out the first official trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens directed by J.J. Abrams. This is a continuation of the saga created by George Lucas set thirty years after Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983). Could this movie also lead the way for future Droid Phones? Let's hope so!

I love how I woke up this morning...and my entire Facebook wall and Google+ Feed was filled....FILLED with this constantly being reshared. It was ridiculous. I should've taken a screenshot. I don't care what people say...that lightsaber looks beast!

Can't believe there are only 8 comments on this thread! So much to talk about. How about that light saber. Not sure im sold. Is that supposed to be a guard. Wouldn't opponents light saber slice the metal part and still cut off the hand?

exactly, what is that going to block... absolutely nothing.

what next, light-chucks.....

Actually, shouldn't it be bending the light somehow? So it's not solid metal, but hollow with the saber going thru it = no hand cut-off.

I think it looks cool. But I'm assuming someone dies from it when they have that whole "block inches from your chest" thing going.

nope

"The crossguard lightsaber was essentially a regular lightsaber with a second blade emitter protruding near the first one at a 45-degree angle"

if these were at 45 degrees not 90 it would look MUCH cooler

it's emitting the light, not bending it... so there's stuff in that part of the hilt that can't withstand a saber strike.
