Star in notification bar

Over the past 1-2 weeks I have gotten a star in my notification bar. The first 2 times, trying to get me to install singles apps, now this time saying I won an ipad. WTF.

Usually that a form of spam that can be traced to an app that uses push notifications. Download AirPush from the market and sew if it comes.up with anything.

Just this morning I installed MP3 Music Download (Google App) and sure enough a little green plus sign showed up in my status bar. AirPush pointed me to the app.

It had me confused because I didn't DL/install anything just before it started. But I did also have the mp3 download app. I installed it 2 months ago, nut never use it. I uninstalled well see if it stops. Thanks.
