speed dials

I set up my speed dial numbers but now i can't figure out how to use them. My last phone I would open up my key pad and press the number that I want to dial (example 2) and then hit send. This phone doesn't work that way. I don't know what I need to do. I have the droid x2. Thanks for any help.

Try touching the number and hold finger in place, speed dial assigned to that number will kick in and you should see call connect (you can take finger off then-LOL). No need to touch another key. Hope this helps.
