Speech to Text starting with capital letter

This has been a frustrating part of the Speech to Text feature in the Droid Incredible however, I think I have a fix for it.

I start out saying the word "period", and then start speaking my sentence. A period appears first and then the sentence starts with a Capital letter. At the end of each sentence, I say Period, Question Mark, Exclamation Point, etc. Seem to be doing the trick for now. LOL. All my messages will start with a period.

welcome to the forum. thats why i dnt like to use that feature because it never gives correct sentences. Lol....i could use swear words and it comes out foreign or it makes up its own sentences. Lol

I use the feature all the time successfully. It takes a little practice clearly annunciating words and I even overcame the swear words blocking element.

Unable to have a new sentence capitalized

I have been unable to get the first letter of a new sentence capitalized. Can someone help me with this? It sounds like you guys are able to accomplish this task.
