Sony Xperia Z1 Mini (Honami Mini) Shows Up on Camera with Big Brother Xperia Z1

As you can see in the pic above, it appears that Sony will indeed be bringing out a mini version of their Xperia Z1 (Honami). Parked right next to a purple and black Xperia Z1 is a smaller Xperia Z1 look-alike (also in purple). The pic comes along with some intel on specs for the device. Here's what we know so far:

• 4.3-inches 720p display
• Snapdragon 800
• 2GB of RAM
• 8GB of storage
• The same 20.7MP G Lens found in the Xperia Z1

There's no word yet on whether the smaller sibling will be waterproof yet, but its other specs are still pretty impressive compared to other mini versions of devices. In this case, Sony isn't skimping on the mini model and plans to pack it with some of the best features of the larger model. Sony might just have a real winner on their hands for folks looking for smaller phones. It is expected to come to market early next year. Share your thoughts.

Here's what we know so far: this phone is far too sleek for VZ. I cannot wait until Tmo or Sprint get some decent coverage. I hate having such a paltry selection of devices.
