Sony announces Android Wear based smart socks!

These sound pretty sweet!

- Antimicrobial material for weekly wear
- Built in WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity
- 2 week battery life
- Accurate to a millimeter GPS-based distance tracking
- Each sock will vibe independently guiding wearer via GPS to walking destination
- Additional features to be enabled with sister smart tennis shoes, due in 2016

Sounds pretty sweet. There is talk that the apps, while phone based, will have support for AW watches too.
