Some general suggestions/help for another cracked Droid screen owner

I'm just a standard case of unlucky drop and crack. I'm uninsured unfortunately; as well as rooted. I'm just looking for some suggestions and outside perspective before I make a final decision.

What are my options? Thanks in advance.

I have a good used digitizer, my lcd went out. I would not say it is easy to install but shoot me a pm if you are interested, my solution is to buy a phone that verizon wont activate off ebay and swap mainboards, I am waiting on a phone to be shipped, not the cheapest, but i dont think it is worth it to try to swap the lcd or digitzer. My phone with the bad lcd overclocks to 1.3 ghz and is rock solid. check into the bad esn or bootloader phones on ebay, the motherboard is easy enough to swap
