Software issues?

So i have my mp3 ringtones in the correct folder for my phone, but once in a while, i will lose all sounds coming out of my phone. Like, one minute itll work perfectly fine, and then the next, nothing, i get no sound for calls, sms, IMs, etc. are you others getting this issue as well?

ive also encountered :

my phone overheats with light browsing

my battery barely lasts 10 hours with light usage

my screen auto-highlights icons on its own

can anyone suggest anything for these issues? should i go back and exchange the phone?

If your phone is overheating, then it needs to be replaced. I haven't heard much of this problem. I do know that it gets warm near the camera with browser usage, and / or long time usage in general.

oh and on the note of the camera, my camera makes a weird noise when it starts up.
