So many problems with my Droid...how do I fix it?

I have had my Droid since December. It had been pissing me off lately.
It is rooted (DroidMod) and OC'ed. It ran great up until June or July. It is slow. It is glitchy.The latest problem seems to be when I get a call my phone freezes, or when I answer I cannot hear the other person but they can hear me. Should I unroot my phone? Should I take it Verizon? I am just about ready to trash it. I have had enough problems with it.

I would unroot it and do a hard reset, since you have had multiple problems, and froyo will be sent to stock soon anyway.

I would either take jasmo's advice, or switch Roms. I used droidmod long time ago and I loved it until I tried a different Rom and was floored at how slow and glitchy droidmod actually was. Once I switched I never looked back.

Remove any task killers. Remove any antivirus. Go to settings/privacy and do a factory data reset. Purchase cache-mate and use it for maintenance.
