So guys..

Since the OP was looking for some tips and all he got was a bunch of braggers :) ...I throw one in:

Toothpaste - Not the gel stuff...Old fashioned toothpaste - It has alumina trihydrate which acts as a very mild abrasive.

I use it on my watch crystal and eye glasses for tiny (repeat) tiny scratches.
I've also used it on an ipod touch and a PSP (before I got screen protectors)

I havent used it on a Droid so I don't know how the Gorilla glass will respond, but for most glass surfaces I do the following:

<AT YOUR OWN RISK>
Put a small dab on the glass and work it into the scratch with a moderately heavy hand using a soft cloth. I use a swirling motion. Some disagree to that. A few applications usually does the trick

On second thought..Don't use toothpaste on your droid..I'm afraid that you will get horrible buffing scratches on it...

It does work well on eyeglasses..Probably because You can buff the whole lense at the same time..My PSP and IPOD had VERY TINY surface scratches on them and I was able to get them out.

I'd feel really bad if your screen gets messed up..Besides, you should never go to the internet for advice. I'm sure by the time this thread is closed, you'll discover that your Droid has some form of cancer.
