Keyboard lighting

Up until yesterday I didn't have a problem .... Then the keyboard wouldn't light. I tried opening and closing a couple of times and then the Droid froze.

I let it sit awhile and it seemed to come back so I powered off and on.

First time I tried the keyboard it didn't light but the second time all was well and the lights were back on....

This morning the keyboard wouldn't light again. This time I removed the battery and then brought it back up. Again didn't light the first time but all seems to well after that...

Anyone ever had this issue ????

Maybe the lighting engineer that lives in my Droid had a stroke or something?????

This happens to me every once in a while.
Easy fix...

  1. Lock the phone by hitting the button on the top of the phone.
  2. Screen goes black
  3. Hit the button again to wake it up.
  4. Swype to unlock the phone
Voila...Keyboard and Home Keys light up again.

(I just made a simple function of the phone sound complicated)..

Lock then unlock your phone.

It is a Droid stock bug. After booting the lighting doesn't recognize, you need to lock and unlock the phone to get it working right. It is a regrettable problem, it happens to ALL Droid on every boot.

Thanks, this is the first time I have noticed it.....
