So far AWESOME week for Android!

Well yesterday was a big day for us Android fans regardless of what device you are running! To break it down:

1. Samsung released full Froyo source for the Galaxy S line
2. Gingerbread SDK is supposed to be released in a week or so
3. FULL Droid X 2.2 .SBF is out.
4. AOSP ROM (not kernel) booting on Droid X
5. AOSP ROM (not kernel) booting on Droid 2

It will give us a look at the new UI through the emulator. It will also show us all the new goodness and API's we have to look forward to!

It means Roms can be made for the galaxy s line of phones with froyo and it also means the froyo OTA will be dropping real soon samsung owners.

I am really looking forward to seeing this new UI. I know it's been said the droid 1 will get some form of gingerbread, I just hope it's true. I am rooted anyway so I guess I will see it no matter what.
