SlideIt issue

Hey guys, I am running SlideIt on my HTC Incredible and love it. This morning it starting giving me the error saying: "sliding not allowed in ABC mode" I can't figure out how to get it to allow sliding again. Has anyone else seen this? I am sure I'm missing something simple. I tried searching the forums for this, but couldn't find anything.

I figured it out. The color of ABC was misleading on the screen. Once I tapped SlideIt on the screen, it worked again.

forgive me for being ignorant, but I am a brand new D I user and not familiar with all the apps. I've been reading so much about this swipe and or slideit. Would someone please be so kind to maybe explain what this is exactly. It would really be appreciated. Also,are there any accessories that I should be getting? So far the only thing I bought is a car charger. Thank you so much.

Try to google swype and visit their homepage. There should be a video or something on their site that tells you how it works :]

SlideIt is similar to swype, I believe it isn't as good since swype came out first and has more development behind it. I could be wrong.
