Skype crashing during calls

I installed skype v. 2.0.0.47 (dark blue) from the android market. When I make a phone call with skype, after a few minutes its closes, I drop the call and it restarts. Then I have to open it up again and try the call again, and still the problem continues after 5 minutes or so. It gets annoying.

I'm not sure if this is due to the advanced task killer I have installed, but I can never Kill skype with it. I do have auto kill setup but its setup for every half hour.

Is anyone else having this issue with skype?

Get rid of the task killer. It may or may not be your actual problem, but it is A problem, and losing it couldn't hurt your chances of staying connected in skype.

Also try a different SD Card. This helped me fix my random reboot problems. However, I would also test the original skype app to be certain that the dark blue version you are running is not broken.
