SIM Card stuck

Just got the phone yesterday, and was poking around on it, when the simcover ejected, but the sim card did not, and it refuses to dislodge.

Any advice? Verizon wants 100$ to support this, and I'd rather not pay them.

The device works just fine, just no calls or texts.

RAZR MAXX Sim cover "ejected"? The cover is attached by a rubber flap hinge and simply folds open and snaps shut. The Sim is locked in and ejected by a spring-loaded latching system. To insert, push in with your fingernail until you hear a "click", then release. To remove do the same thing again.

The Sim card and slot are designed so that the card can only be inserted one way so it's nearly impossible to insert wrong and cause it to get stuck however if it's fully inserted and the phone won't make calls then there is the possibility that it's in upside down.
