SIAP: Random Green stars in my notifacation bar?

Is it something that I downloaded, like an app or is it part of this update. I have a Razr with the 4.0.4 update, but it was doing that before the update so I dont think that is it. Also, random shortcuts will pop up on my homescreen, not sure if it is related or not. Am I the only one with this or is anybody else experiencing this too?

green star sounds like ads .. download air push from market run it. see if any apps are able to push ads .. if so delete them .. as far as shortcuts go's wont be much help there sorry
