Should I have gone with a different phone?

The Droid's a great, powerful device. That being said, when/if the N1/Legend/Desire/Incredible come to Verizon I'll be selling it. The keyboard would be gathering dust if it were ever open :motdroidhoriz:

Should I have gone with a phone like to HTC to of gotten a lighter phone.

You mean like the Nexus One? Is a savings of 39 grams significant to you? We can't tell you what your priorities are. Compare the features and specs and see what differences are important or not.

For SMS I normally don't use the keyboard, but for emails or long forum posts, the keyboard makes it so much easier to do. Besides that, the DROID is the best phone I have ever used including the iPhone 3GS and BB bold that I had...it is so fast, customizable, versatile...love it.

I hated the on screen keyboard at first. But once i got used to it it was awesome! i love the droid!

i barely use the onscreen keyboard.. i love the slide out keyboard... ive maybe used the onscreen all of 10 times in the month ive had the phone..
