Shh!: Auto Silencer and Handcent?

Have a Droid 2

Downloaded "Shh!: Auto Silencer Lite" to silence my phone during certain time frames. So far, so good. When active, the phone truly is silent. Incoming calls are silent, emails are silent. Reminders and other notifications are silent.

however.....

Handcent is NOT silent. It continues to notify with sound.

Is there a compatibility issue?

It works fine for me. I have multiple times set up and it shuts everything up except alarms and music.
