Hopefully, my question will make sense. In short, I would like to share my wifi connection to my S21+ with other devices such as my Samsung tablet S6 and my Windows laptop. Here are a few use cases:

1. The hotel room provides a single wifi connection. or on a flight or cruise, where I would purchase a single WiFi connection, would I be able to share that connection with my other devices after I connect and sign in to their router?

If my Samsung S21+ cannot support this, does anyone know of another device, such as a portable router that can?

I know how to do this with my windows 10 laptop but would prefer not to have to keep my laptop on all the time.

Thanks!

Should be basically the same as your Laptop.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.

  1. Find "Configure" Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen. ...
  2. Select Wi-Fi hotspot settings. ...
  3. Turn on Wi-Fi hotspot. ...
  4. Return to the home screen. ...
  5. Establish connection to Wi-Fi hotspot from another device.

Thanks, I knew the hotspot mode works as long as I have my cell coverage, just wasn't sure that would work with a wifi connection.
