Setting songs as ringtones 4.1 update

So they did away with my music which was really simple to set songs as ringtones and I am now using play music app. How do I set my songs as a ringtone. It does not give me the option and I am sure I am missing something super simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here - I am annoyed they keep changing things! I always commend the RAZR for ease of ringtones - now I cannot figure this out.

Not the same here. I still have my ringtones and I just made a new song into a ringtone. Perhaps your music app won't allow it. I use Power amp and it works fine.

Can't you just create a folder called Ringtones on your SD card and it should give you the option to use those?

I still have the old ringtone numbers assigned but can't assign new ones.
