Setting Droid sound for Notifications

I mounted the system/media/audio/notifications folder and copied the Droid sound to it from my OG1. I want to set it as my default, but it only shows up in ringtones when I use the HTC 'Personalize sound' function. How can I get that file to show up in the other drop down menus for selection? And yes, I have confirmed that the file is present in the folder. Thanks!

EDIT: Used Root Explorer to change the permissions of the Droid file to match those of the other files and re-booted. The Droid file is now present in the drop down menu.
