SetCPU Advanced Settings & Set on Boot

I did search and went to their website, but could not find. What do the 'Advanced Settings' do by line item & are the defaults ok? Should I check 'Set on Boot' for Adv Settings? Should I check 'Set on Boot' on the main screen?
