Are you running a custom ROM? There have been several ROM's out there that have this issue. I don't recall it being a problem on stock.

Yes I am on a rooted Rom but have been for several months with no issue?

What ROM are you running? Have you been over to XDA? They typically have a more active dev community, so if you find the ROM you're using search through the thread there and see if they have a fix.
