Selecting walpaper size

Is it just me or am I dumb when it comes to using one of my own images for my background on my Droid X... I cant ever get the size right.. it makes no since to me I dont know how to work that box thing... the picture always is bigger then the screen. What am I doing wrong?

You need to make or use an image that is 960x854 in order to use the whole image as wallpaper on the Droid X. When the box comes up to let you choose a part of the image, just drag an edge or corner so it takes up the whole image.

Eh works decent, still doesn't work like it should but better then nothing.
