Selcted 2.1 OTA

ummm I have a question for us running ModDroid and other Roms. that disable OTA

How would we know if we were selected in the testing?

Haha, would be too bad if a bunch of the selected 2.1 update people were all rooted and didnt know. I wonder if they can tell if we took the update or not because it would be funny in a few months after its been released they would be like "I thought they wanted this update, why are thousands of them not downloading it?" haha

LoL..... this is true.. was on another Board. ( sorry forget which one it was ) but I no joke everyother post was something about the 2.1 release. the normal questions when? why? the few selected?

You would already know if you were atester, do you really think that they are going to just randomly select phones for testing?

NO.

They have phones already in VZ employees hands and push to those units. Then they get results back quickly.

The OTA done on the 18th and after. Was a selected Region. From what I know. "Testers" have had 2.1 for over a month. My post was simply questioning " How would rooted know "

Which in a later post I answered it.
