music/headphone jack issue

when i have my phone connected to my stereo if i bump the cable to many times it sends my phone in the Party Shuffle Immediately.?? also sometimes if i unplug the cable, its like it disables something. if i make a call i cant hear through the ear piece.. and i have my phone set for audible selection tones. it also disables those after i unplug it...

Restarting the phone solves this issue. but i get sick of restarting

any ideas??

im hoping the 2.1 ota update will fix these issues. but im afraid the headphone jack malfunction is completely hardware related

same problem... annoys the crap out of me... using it in a dock with a cable running from the jack into the line in on my PC so i can control my music and not need to alt tab, and if i barely touch it it detects as if i've reinserted it and immediately changes the song and turns on party shuffle
