Security Policy Updates Question

I posted this over on the sister site S5 forums. I'm curious if any other S5 or other Samsung users have ever seen this pop up.

I keep getting reminders about the Security Enhancements for Android policy update. I've been hitting "Decline" every day but it pops up again 24 hours later. Is this something that is going to eventually cause KNOX to trip if I root or something? Or is this just some standard thing that I should just accept and get it over with?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it triggers Knox. I believe you have to set Knox up as it requires passwords.

I'd rather not post on there. I might find out things about myself and family that I didn't know before if I would ever post something :)

I remember seeing this b4 on one of my Note...just accept ..don't worry they locked down plenty already without our okay ..lol

You should be able to go into your application manager and turn off the notifications for this. You can also go into Titanium backup and freeze it if your device is rooted.

tap'n on my S5

I turned off notification and it still pops up?, I'm not rooted...but would like to be.

Well, I would say rather than keep declining it I would say just click the accept button. I would say it includes some security updates which may be necessary for security over your devices.
