I can't figure out how to search texts by contact. Like: what was that last message Pete sent me. In my old Moto Droid, i just slid out the keyboard work texts open and topped in a name. Any ideas?

I can't figure out how to search texts by contact. Like: what was that last message Pete sent me. In my old Moto Droid, i just slid out the keyboard work texts open and topped in a name. Any ideas?

You should just be able to go into your texting app and they should be listed from most recent to least recent. Then just look for the name Pete. What I do though is just use the Gesture search app from google. I just open up the app and write the letter on the screen of who I want and it quickly give me a list of things with that letter. You can set it up to search more than just contacts. It will also do apps, music, browser bookmarks and phone settings. I would recommend setting the write speed to slow. I was have a tough time with some letters like A or T until I put it on slow. The important thing you need to remember also is you have to refresh the index if you add something to your phone or it won't be in the index when you go looking for it until you do.
