SD Card deleting files...?

Alright, my friend as a Droid 2 and the phone will delete files from the SD Card randomly(?).

He'll by mounted and everything is fine. Then eject, dismount and everything is there. But then he'll remount 10minutes later and all wallpapers/pics/icons are gone (folders still there, but empty).

I've never heard of this problem before. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Are these files added by plugging the phone into a computer? If so, it could be one of two things, either what I talk about here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...indows-7-sd-card-write-caching-droid-2-a.html
or, if you're using Windows, if you don't use the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature before unplugging the phone, it may not write the files to the SD card, so they'll seem to disappear, but they won't truly there to begin with (Which is very similar to what I talk about in that thread above)
