Scrolling resets back to top of the list.

How come whenever im in my music player and go back to the library from tecartist menu it resets the scroll to the top of the list? It never did this on my droid1. Is there a setting to keep the scroll at where I left it last instead of automatically going to the top and me having to scroll all the way back down to where I was at? Truly annoying.

Even in text messaging. Whenever I leave to home screen and go back to txtin someone have to scroll all the way back down to the recent message because it keeps automatically resetting to the top of the text message thread...wtf. I have non root droid x.
