Screen "wakes up" on own since 2.2 update

Since the 2.2 update my phone will "wake up" without anyone touching it. When this happens it does not automatically turn the screen off after a certain amount of time. It is draining my battery!! Any suggestions or is this happening to anyone else?!?

Check for active android Wakelocks (Google for wakelocks), which might be holding your screen on,
