Touch screen won't wake

My Droid fell off a bench today. Now after the screen blanks, when i hit the power button to wake it, the touch screen stays disabled. It works fine when the phone boots, and as long the screen doesn't blank, but once the screen blanks, the touch screen stays disabled. Any suggestions?

if you got the insurance i would say go get a new one
