Screen Viewing Sides

I moved over from Blackberry a few weeks ago and I getting the hang of the Droid now after Blackberry for 12 years.

I'm able to turn my Incredible to the left and the screen turns landscape, but when I turn the device to the right it doesn't shift to the right in a landscape position. Is this just what the device does or should it be turning landscape and its not working?

Is it a bug or no?

With my Moto Droid (sorry, but I can't speak for the Incredible), turning it left to landscape is the position to slide it out to open the physical keyboard, and is also the default position for the camera.

However, there's the ability in the settings menu under Sounds & Display to change the orientation from normal (left only) to off (no turning at all), 270degrees (turn left OR right) and 360 degrees (left, right AND upside down).

Try looking through your display settings to see if the Incredible has anything similar.


PS, for mods. Would this be more appropriate for the Droid Incredible section?
