Ihave my rezound with a otter box defender case I'm moving up to the extended battery and case and holster combo should I get the screen protector as well I never have used them befor cause I have had htc phones with grollia glass I don't think the rezound has that

I use a screen protector on my Rezound. I didn't feel like taking any chances with a $700 phone. I cracked the screen on my Eris about three months into having it and had to deal with it for the next year and a half. I wont make that mistake again, and screen protectors don't cost that much. I use Halo protectors from amazon for about $7 for three. they fit great.
