screen locked up

Ok, so I need to figure out how to do a "hard reboot" on my Droid X. If I hit the power button on top, the screen pops up for "silent mode, airplane mode or power off" but still can't touch any of them cause the screen doesn't work. Uggghhhhh!!! Frustrated. Please Help!

Do a battery pull, leave it out for 30 seconds and then put back in.
