Screen lock widget? Volume unlock apps?

Hey all. Just got this s3and am wondering what app you all might use to lock your screen. I used a widget that no longer works on this phone. Also, I can't seem too find how to unlock the screen with the volume buttons. I was rooted on my inc2 and can't remember if that was one of the features. Thanks!

I do not think that there is a way to unlock the stock S3 with the volume buttons. And I never changed the lock screen on my S3

I use widget locker instead of the stock screen. It.gives you a ton of options on how to unlock it.

Does it allow volume buttons to unlock the phone? I really miss my old lock screen widget. I really like to keep the use of the physical buttons to a minimum. I check this out.
