Saying goodbye to the Razr forum :(

You all have been an wealth of knowledge and a source of entertainment since I got my first Razr on opening day.

I'm now on my 3rd Razr, which boggles my mind. Motorola and I don't seem to get along since I've never been able to keep the original phone I purchased starting with the OG Droid.

The Razr's an awesome phone, but I've had enough. A very wonderful CSR told me, "If my customer ain't happy, I'm not happy. And I like to be happy." My Rezound will be here tomorrow.

So thank you all. I'm sure I'll pop in from time to time since my husband is eyeing a Razr (he gets along great with Moto phones).

Wow, sorry to hear about the continued issues with the Razr. I've been lucky (known on wood) enough to never have had replaced my OG Droid, Droid X (which I purchased used), and current Bionic. They just worked for me. Good luck with the Rezound.

That's a good question. Verizon boasts of the thorough inspections that are done on these phones before they are sent back out, but I think their refurbishing department is crap. I've never gotten a refurb that worked properly.

I believe you will love the Rezound. Just wait until you take your first picture with it! The camera will blow your mind!
I have the Maxx now and still carry my Rezound around to use as my camera so I can leave the Nikon at home.

My Fascinate (new) performed well but my wife got a refurbished one and it has always been quirky. On top of that when she updated the phone she got stuck with that annoying "Call from..... Call from...." ringtone.

I know someone who got a refurb from another company ....it was missing the speaker lololololol.

The first replacement was a new one and the 2nd was a refurb. Although it doesn't seem to matter the condition since I always had to get at least 1 replacement for each model. Perhaps I did something to Motorola in a past life.

You will love the Rezound. My son has one and loves it and as much as I love my Maxx, I think his Rezound is just as great.

How long did you have your Razr, and did they give you the ReZound for free, or did you have to pay something?

Also, what problems did you have with your Razr?
