Saving a screen

Depends on the device you have. Frequently it's an option if you long-hold the power button, or possibly press it simultaneously with volume up or volume down, or possibly while tapping the Menu button.

I'd recommend just doing a search for the device you have and "screenshot".
 
With most phones I have had the last few years, screenshots are captured by pressing the Volume Down button + Power button at the exact same time. If one is pressed before the other, then you either turn the volume down or see the Power Off option. If you get them exactly together you normally get a screenshot....on most phones I am familiar with.
