Camera not saving pictures to gallery

Whenever i take a picture now it saves a a black screen in my gallery. The picture takes just fine and i can see it on the screen for a second and then when i go to my gallery its just a black box. Any ideas before i reset phone to default?

i had a problem similar to that on my d2 and reseating the sd card fixed it up.

Yeah actually i just took out my sd card, did the old nintendo blow on it trick and ran sdRescan and now everything works again. back in business. thanks

On my Droid 2 my camera would instantly close (didn't give FC message) and this was due to a bad SD card... just another thing to watch out for... weird behavior related to SD card malfunctions
