Is Sapphire 1.1.1 update.zip the actual rom or just the update? I have apeX 1.0, rubiX 1.6, and now sapphire 1.1.1 all on my sd card. Im running apeX right now but want to try them all out. Any suggestions?

yup, sapphire v1.1.1 is a full rom for the droid 1. it is suggested that you perform a data & cache wipe before flashing this rom.

your sig shows you using a droid x, just to be clear Sapphire is for use with a Droid 1 (a855) device only.

yes always perform a backup of your current system in the event of a failed flash or something worse :icon_eek:

no problem thats what we're here for.

there is a rom in the works for DX called "Obsidian" from the crystal clear rom folks. i think its still in alpha/beta testing. i just checked there site and it has not been released yet.
