Sandisk announces 32gb microSD card

ehh regular SD cards are gigantic in comparison... for space micro are great. maybe mini, but naaa

This will be down to 75 dollars within a month you can bank on that, the 16 gig cards are 40, they always fall like that, double the space for just under double the price.

Just glad to hear they'll be widely available, I'd consider paying $100 for one of these would definitely pay $50, one good thing to remember is that microsd is pretty much the standard for handhelds with removable storage and if I eventually do get one it will most likely outlive my droid.

Lmao, you gonna have to bump this thread back on April 22nd and post a link with a 32 gig for $75. I doubt....no wait, i'm postitive you won't be able too.

+1 on this thing selling like hot cakes. personally i'm not going to spend as much or more on a sd card than i paid for my phone. the 16gb card i'm using now is just fine. when this one drops in price i'll take a closer look.

16 GB is plenty, but I really wish I could install some apps onto the cards

You will be able to....soon. Major progress has been made int he apps2sd for the droid. In fact..i believe it is working. You just have to format your sd card correctly. I know the new desire rom based off the incredible rom uses app2sd standard and is working.

Well maybe itll take a while to drop in price, but come on, nobody is going to pay 200 for a card. Maybe if it was a 200GB card and our phone could take it...

Absolutely! $200 to put an end to swapping music in and out. $200 for 32 gb is ridiculous. Get it down to $75 and I'll probably make the leap. It won't hold my entire library, but it would make it easier to decide what to leave off.

an idea just popped in my head bout this..give me a few to try something.

Once the off brand makers start putting them out, you will be able to get them for a fraction of the price. When something is new and you're the only maker, you can control the price from the start.

$200

I think I'll just swap 2 16GB cards, thank you.
dumb question, but when you swap cards, can you just have a spare card and have nothing but movies in it? Or do you have to put all the other folders in it too associated with the OS, apps, ect? make sense?
