I have a s5 that's unbranded open all networks have a contract with three mobile and there rolling out volte if I reflash my phone to threes firmware will it do the updates as like it did unbranded when three makes a new firmware. Also can I back up my unbranded firmware so if I leave three I can refashioned it back thanks for your help craig

If you flash Three's stock firmware you will start receiving Three's updates if there should be any more afterwards.

You would have to root and create a Nandroid if you want to have everything on your phone, as it is now, to have a complete backup.

If you aren't worried about losing anything you can always just flash back to an open firmware. A lot of people use Russia's as it is typically the most up to date, open firmware.
