The European rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) just started in Spain today. The update had previously rolled out to the device in Poland. Since then, Samsung has tweaked the firmware a bit and they are now poised for the full European launch of the OS.

Here's a quote with a few more details,

As a refresher, Lollipop brings a slew of enhancements to the table, including improved performance, a refreshed visual design in Samsung apps and the general user interface, lockscreen notifications, better battery life, multi user and guest mode support on phones, support for 64-bit CPUs, and more. Interested users can download the full firmware from our firmware section, or just wait it out until the update’s notification makes an appearance on their Galaxy S5.

I'll take this as good news for the Note 4 as well, because I'm sure we won't be far behind.

Glad to see they're moving forward and ready for lollipop to hit these phones state-side.
