Here are a couple of leaked images worthy of your attention if you are a Samsung fan. The Galaxy S6 EDGE Plus is one of Samsung's upcoming hot new phablet-style devices. The above (and in the thread below) images showcase a dummy unit of the device proudly strutting its stuff next to the Galaxy Note 4.

What's notable about this device is that it is slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note 4, even though it actually has the same size 5.7-inch display of the older cousin. Of course, the Galaxy S6 EDGE Plus also has the dual-wrapped LED display characteristic of its older and smaller brother, the Galaxy S6 Edge.

The device is expected to have the following specs:
  • 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440) display
  • Snapdragon 808 processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 16MP rear camera with optical images stabilization
  • 3,000mAh battery
Sound off and let us know what you think of this new phablet from Sammy.

And Samsung is doing this for what reason when the Note 5 is almost a Month away? They cry about decreased sales. Won't this impact the Note 5 or even the S6 Edge Plus. Personally seems to be a dumb move on Samsungs part.

This is just a STUPID idea. The S6 Edge was just a gimmick. At the Note Edge made it FUNCTIONAL. But when you take the utterly useless curved edge on BOTH sides of the screen, and just make the phone bigger, without adding any functionality to the curved edges, its just a waste of time and effort. Its cute to have a phone with a curved display, I get it, but if its not functional, its a waste.

Thats why I decided to get the Note Edge (in 2 weeks).

I was very much looking forward to getting the Note 5 Edge... I hope they aren't this dumb as to turn away such an easy sale.

Personally unless the Note 5 comes out with an Edge Version Usable like the Note Edge was I would not be interested. I think this is going kill any possibility of a Note 5 Edge. Seriously whats next. A S6 mini & S6 Edge Mini. Too Many Variants. Thats why sales are week. You want a S6 & S6 Edge then leave it at that. There are at least 4 S6's out or will be out. S6, S6 Edge, S6 Active & S6 Edge Plus. What about a S6 Plus? Why Not?

Other than the S-Pen, what is the Difference between the S6 Edge Plus & Note 5. Granted the Note 5 with have different HW internally.

I didn't thing anything was "confirmed" yet, but I wouldn't count on it.
I'm hoping the S7 returns these "wanted" features. Even for us "1%r's".

According to a person who works for a Certain vendor that I know, it is unlikely we with see SD Storage and Removable Batteries anymore. I'm not liking this trend and it may lead to looking into some other MFGs that will offer this. There are some up and coming Phone MFGs and some that are big but not in the States that still offer these options. This may be where i may start looking myself.
